Surgical ServicesSurgical Services:  Our surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Including routine spay/neuter of rabbits, dogs and cats.  In addition to routine surgery, mass removals and exploratory procedures.  We have a great relationship with a traveling orthopedic surgeon that allows your pet to receive care in a familiar place for you and your pet!

AnesthesiaAnesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

 Ultrasound Ultrasound: is offered in the comfort of our office through Pennsylvania Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound Services or Berks Veterinary Ultrasound.  

Dermatology Laser Laser:  Chronic skin issues, wounds that will not heal, surgical incisions, orthopedic pain... we've got a laser for that!  A quick and cost effective way to make your pet more comfortable!

Radiology ServicesRadiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality, digital radiographs to help us quickly diagnose many disorders.  We also can also, if necessary, schedule ultrasounds with an external consultant.

DentistryDentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

LaboratoryLaboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identificationPermanent identification: We offer microchip identification.  PAWS believes that ALL pet's should be microchipped!

PharmacyPharmacy:  We maintain an diverse inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.  All these products are also available on our online store. Individualized Flea Control ProgramsIndividualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary CounselingDietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral RecommendationsBehavioral Recommendations:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression by ruling out underlying medical conditions and knowing when to recommend a veterinary behaviorist.
